Holt Country Park: This is a small country park under the cover of trees. Again another great option in the hot weather. There was a car park on site (£2 for the day) and a small cafe and toilets (we didn't use either of these so I cannot comment on those elements). There was a small park for the children and then a trail around the park looking at different wooden sculptures as you went round. The walk took us about an hour but was a great first walk of the day with the dogs and it was safe to let them off here also. Felbrigg Hall: I think this is one of my new favourite places! So much so, we went twice in one week! This is a National Trust Hall so great if you are members. The hall itself was beautiful to walk around and the grounds are extensive! What I loved most was the ancient wood at the back of the hall. There was a great circular walk under the cover of the trees where we could let the dogs (and kids!) run free. Perfect for the hot weather. There is an excellent café here also with lots of options that are dairy and nut free as well as vegan ice cream (this time sorbets- which again was great for my son and on the hot days!) Blakeney: Crabbing! Again! Just as good as last year and we caught more crabs! The weather was also great - not rainy this year! If you are a National Trust member, car parking is free. Be sure to look up the tides before heading crabbing and ideally go for the hour in which the tide is coming in (high tide) as usually that's when there are more crabs! This year we found somewhere to get ice cream and they also had some vegan sorbets for my son. After our day crabbing we went to The Dun Cow in Salthouse for dinner which was brilliant - great views and great food (https://www.salthouseduncow.com/)

Wells - next - the - sea: A busy, hot fun day at the beach! This beach is great as it is vast! There is one side where dogs are allowed and a side they are not. This year we stayed in the shade of the beach huts with the dogs as it was just so hot. There is a fresh water tap at the bottom of the stairs to the beach where you can refill their water. Ice creams are available at the shop by the car park and there is also a take away pizza place there too. We didn't use this but I can say the ice cream was delicious! This year, parking close to the beach was full so my husband dropped the kids, the dogs and me at the beach and parked more centrally.
